  1. I wouldn't even touch this thing. Too much risk, liability when something does inevtiably go wrong and someone dies from CO poisoning, and you were the last person to service it.

  2. I know that feeling of trying to save the customer some money and then not being able to because the system is too far gone. Honesty is always the best policy. Nice job man. Thanks for sharing the video.

  3. Hello Steve and Molly! We love your videos and have learned so much! (Especially what NOT to do!) From your friends down the coast in Baltimore 🤠

  4. I seriously think this guy needs to invest in a good smoke/CO detector for the basement and the bedroom [code recommendation]. Even a new boiler can go haywire and other issues that can produce CO from the stack!

  5. If the boiler is at high limit, the power vent wouldn’t be running. There is no flame, why would the exhaust fan run? Have you heard of a pressure switch? If the fan kicks out, pressure switch would open and burner would stop. Do you do this for a living? Or fun?

  6. Saying whether you go with me or someone else, but get it done, really makes a difference and takes the idea out of their head that you are trying to rip them off.
I’m in the auto world, and I’ve said this dozens of times when it comes to dangerous tires or the like. I want your business, but even if you go elsewhere, please get them replaced as soon as you can for your safety. I’d say a majority of the time they go with me. And I only use that line when it is that serious. If they do go with someone else, at least I know they are safe and they know I’m honest.
    Steve is the man.
