Losing your hearing is horrible! Couldn't imagine! If you going to just sights….leave the hair grease in the bathroom of Raising Arizona! Just trim those burns! Us people with "some" sight will be happy 😊

Way to be inclusive!

Great idea! I don't need the service (at least not yet! Knock on wood!), but it's very thoughtful of you to do this!

Even though I have full capacity of my sight and hearing, this is wonderful. I often find myself just listening to videos, yours in particular, and more sounds just increases my enjoyment as someone who finds their phone in their pocket rather than their hands.

Sometimes I like listening to your videos while working (as if it were a podcast, I can't always see the screen)

So this sounds ace!

I just randomly thought of something I'd like to hear a video about. Remember how old computer speakers and stereos would make noise every time you get a call or a text message? When and how did that stop? Why do my laptop/bluetooth/etc. speakers not do this now?

If you run across some old audio clips that is unusable because of noise or whatever, I'll gladly help out

Here you are yet again reinforcing your status as my absolute favorite creator. Your CC efforts and the many hours you pour into research and writing are so very appreciated, and now your efforts to be even more inclusive for a variety of audience members is just <3333

Get one of those ASMR ear microphones that make noises sound like you're there in person when listening thru stereo headphones 🙂

Technically, I believe they're called binaural microphones, and don't necessarily need artificial ears to produce the "holographic sound" effect, depends on the model.

Thankfully I'm not blind but I appreciate this all the same. It'd be criminal for others with impairments to not get the full enjoyment from your videos. And I'm SUPER thankful that you're taking the time/effort to make your content more accessible. It's surprising how many blind ppl there are in the world that "watch" youtube. There's one girl called Lucy Edwards who has her channel dedicated to how she operates as a blind person. Seeing her type on her phone with the touchscreen facing away from her was astonishing to watch for example. They just do things differently but damn is she 200% faster than I am typing on a screen lol. Thank you for the hard work and keep it up.

"There are many people among us to whom audio is the only experience and wow; that must be irritating." In other words "Hey blind people! It must suck to be you."

I work in a group home for developmentally disabled adults (as my day job), and one of the men I care for is blind. I think he'll enjoy these, and I'll put one on next time I'm at work.

About forgetting the de-esser: try making check lists. They absolutely work! And they provide you with free dopamine hit every time you check off an item. I wish someone told me that years ago.

While I do have usable vision, I don't like it when people make videos where the content can only be understood by carefully watching the screen the entire time. I almost constantly "watch" YouTube videos while doing work, which doesn't allow me to actively watch the video, or I get distracted while watching a video.

This is very cool. I look forward to seeing this concept, and I'm very interesting in hearing what the blind community thinks about it in the future.

Really excited about this. I don't have sensory challenges but I find listening immersive in a way sight is not for me.

Can you add your other channels to the Channels section. It's easier to look up when the link to the other channel isn't in the description of all your videos.

Hi Alec, maybe also consider accessibility grants to help support or even hire-out some of this work? I think those exist for educational material. Could you also upload an additional audio track that describes the part of the video in real time? Just some ideas. It's cool that you're doing this.
