  1. Yeah maybe she can take it back and get a 600 dollar ring that looks similar with moissanite or something to celebrate. Faster to pay off. Its the thought that counts.

  2. I financed my fiancé’s ring it was around 5,500. I had the cash to buy it but it was zero percent interest for 1 year and I figured this was an easy way to bump up my credit score. I quadrupled the payments and paid it off in a few months. This took my credit score from 700 to 750 in just a couple months.

  3. I bought a small diamond, very small, for my wife's wedding band. The engagement ring came without a stone at all. And I will never buy a diamond again. I have no problem buying a nice fake, even a very nice and somewhat expensive fake, just so it looks good, but never a real one again.

  4. My husband and I went to go look at rings when we were engaged. I wanted a Moissanite ring because they were identical to diamonds but a fraction of the cost. Turns out, the jewelry store next door was having a 75% off all diamonds sale. I ended up getting a half carat white gold diamond ring for $620 after taxes and fees. A month later, we got my wedding band which is a white gold infinity band with 13 1/9 carat diamonds for $380 after taxes and fees. $1000 for my entire set and it is gorgeous. We bought them when we had the money; not before.

  5. Man proved love! In modern way! She deserved it! Loool !!! And he deserves payments and overtime!
I hope she got her likes from social media?!

  6. She’s clearly torn because she’s greatful and doesn’t want to hurt her husband’s feelings by returning the ring but also knows they can’t afford it and certainly shouldn’t have financed it. His heart was in the right place but it was not a wise purchase.

  7. Her husband is lucky to have a woman with her eye on the prize for them as a couple. Many women would just wear it and brag. I hope they take it back, and I hope he isn't sore about it.

  8. Yes it is so he can feel guilt free when he buys something stupid for himself. It's: I wanta new rifle but wife is going to be mad at me if I buy one so I'll buy her "whatever" that she has been wanting for a while and then I'll buy my new rifle and she won't say anything about it because she doesn't want to give up "watever".

  9. Yep, he's doomed. If he's comfortable with 4k on credit for something so useless just imagine what he'd do for something he wants personally lol
