Several of you have asked for the specific story on how I navigated funding my education after leaving Nigeria. It was a whirlwind to say the least but thank God for grit and favor. I hope this video inspires and blesses you! .

Also Ann, what would you suggest, a private or public institution, cos my admission is to a private? Do you think your story can repeat itself in a private uni? In addition, how did you qualify for in-state tuition?

Hey Ann. I'm so motivated by this video. Feels like you were talking right to me, and I connect so much with your story because I'm also from Nigeria. I got an admission for Masters with a fifth funding. What's left is still so much and I'll need proof of funds to get my I-20 from the institution. I hear that there are student loans but I'm just so scared. Although I'm inspired by your story, I don't feel bold enough to take a student loan. 😟 Any more motivation?

This story resonates so deeply with me. Thank you for sharing your story. I am doing exactly what you said in this video. I don't have the funds, but I have strong faith. I got all the documents needed and even got my transcript to Wes because of the naija wahala of strikes and delays. Lol. Have begun writing professors by stating my expression of interest in particular courses. The research I've done, hmmm, I feel I need a mind detox and so does my laptop cos it's filled with all sorts of application materials. I know it will end in praise. I see my admission happen this Fall, amen!

Hi Ann.. My biggest fear is finances. I have to loan money and still not sure if I'll be able to get an admission in Graduate Program in Canada. Your tips to write Resume and SOP really clarify what should I be doing since no one has guided me so far in any thing: Program selection, university selection, what to write and how to make my application strong. Thank you for this video. It really gives me a confidence to at least try. Please let me know if you can review my SOP any time soon. It will be of great help really. Thanks again dear. God bless you.

Wow…Prof Ann from Nigeria. Happy to meet and watch your videos. You have no idea how I felt about traveling to study until now. Thank you for this Video.
I actually Studied Sociology in my Undergraduate at the University of ILORIN. Came out with a Second class lower. And I always felt no University will find me worthy.
My Undergraduate really messed me up…I was so bright and ready to learn. I took Sociology Because I loved it but they turned it into a disaster for me.
I feel more hopeful and capable now. Thank you so much. Fighting 💪.
By the way I always have issues with what to study next. I will like to do something Humanity abroad but a more job related course over here. I mean a course that Can give an opportunity for a job here. I just heard from you Public health and I someone else. International Security. I want to study abroad badly. Please let me know what you think about courses that will work out really well over there.
Thank you once again

Hello Ann! I'm waiting this video in 2021. Your story just reminded me of my undergrad few years ago, but unfortunately I didn't get the opportunity to stay after I exhausted all my chances. Since then I've been anxious and scared about giving it a second try. Please, do you have any advise? I'll be glad to hear from you. BTW thanks for sharing this video.

Hi Dr Ann… Thank you for your video.
So for me, I have an MBBS degree in Nigeria and I'm considering some schools with GRE waiver in USA for my MPH to start by fall '22 but I'm being advised to consider other health science related courses to enable me get first into the system after which I can go for what I really want. This is quite disturbing but I will like to know your honest response to me.

And few months after that, I am definitely tell you I got funding.
