  1. I am just thinking of maybe eventually perhaps starting a channel, but I really appreciated this video. My solution when testing some outdoor situations is to have another mobile recording with the Boya connected and then use that audio in postproduction. Maybe that isn't an option if a yoga session shows the body from all angles, a bit hard to disguise a phone then. Since I haven't even started or even know if I'm going to, low budget is the way I go 😁

  2. We do a lot of outdoor videos but we also do videos from inside restaurants and other rather loud locations. Would a shotgun mic be best or a lavalier mic? We have a little Joby shotgun mic and we also have the Saramonic Blink wireless mics but haven't tried using either one yet. But our audio on these kinds of videos needs a lot of work! Thanks for any advice!

  3. Great video! I do all my filming in my backyard too, since I have a grilling channel. I love the footage I get out there in the natural light, but I have planes flying over, barking dogs, loud music from neighbors, etc. Like the viewer you featured, I want to pick up some of the sounds of nature like the birds, but I need to mute most of the other stuff. The sure Mv88 seems like a good fit, but I'll check out the other video mentioned towards the end. Thanks!

  4. I cant afford them
    All of them are expensive
I wanna start my yt video with a good quality
Unfortunately i csnt afford that wriless micro
The financial things was always an obstacle
    Well

  5. I have the Shure MV88 and use it often! Been a fabulous mic for my XR. Highly recommend! It’s worth the $145, or if you can find it cheaper.

  6. Sir, I am planning to shoot a short video (school kids) … What would be the best mic to record on set (indoor/outdoor) … There are scenes to shoot from bit far distance, so I need a mic which can record from distance, dialogue between two or more person at one time/scene as well as it should be out of camera frame… Price not more than 35 /40 $

  7. I have a Canon 200d mark II…. I have less space in my room but i want to have a blurry background…. I have 50 mm prime lens but it needs more distance between me and camera so that i can cover my half body…. Which lens to use for short distance with blurry background and which covers more frame

  8. Any suggestions for outdoor filming in windy conditions at the coast? I want to stick to using video on my iPhone and not dub a separate audio later. I’ve got a movo lapel mic and wind muff. Help!

  9. I'm a fitness person too. Will any shotgun mics grab my voice, while maintaining quality, from 15-20 feet away? I film in my garage and I have to crank the audio post and it's still only ok. That's using the rode videomicro on my dslr. I'd rather go shotgun than lav, but I'm open. Thanks.
